Key Accountabilities
- Oversee and manage CAPEX and OPEX awards within the established annual budget and ensure government entities, Al Dar and other service providers deliver their projects according to relevant standards and regulations and within their respective limits of authority.
- Ensure claims, disputes and accounts closures are addressed in a timely and effective manner and oversee the change management process (within a limit of up to 25% of development cost approved by ADEO Executive Council with cap of 500 Million AED).
- Anticipate challenges or disputes that may arise and delay capital projects and partner with Capital Projects Planning and Management leaders to mitigate these risks.
- Establish relationships and maintain effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders, including project owners, Al Dar, other service providers, suppliers and Department of Finance to optimize value from relationships through commercial management excellence and achieve mutually beneficial results.
- Provide strategic guidance and advisory to Commercial Management team on managing capital projects awards and manage escalated issues / anticipated risks with relevant senior stakeholders to resolve and obtain the necessary approvals.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Proven working experience in Government and / or Government related entities with a track-record leading the delivery of commercial management advice for capital projects to Executive Leadership, government entities, and relevant parties.
