14 Lateral Movements
Key Accountabilities
- Establish the networking environment for ADEO by designing cost-effective network systems and services, defining system standards, designating the direction for Local Area Network (LAN) and / or Wide Area Network (WAN), internet, wireless and remote access services, and validating the Software Defined Network (SDN) infrastructure to ensure alignment with the digital strategy.
- Manage the design, implementation and technical evaluation of new technologies for network infrastructure and connections to improve efficiency and resilience of the current network environment.
- Establish, maintain and maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects to provide technical input and promote network optimization and for continuous improvement.
- Implement procedures to monitor network access, administer firewall environments, and enforce system standards to ensure a secure network system in alignment with IT security policy.
- Manage the updating of data servers and network infrastructure / equipment to the latest stable firmware releases, implement automation workflow for the management of repeated network issues, and coordinate necessary configuration of routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls to meet evolving technical requirements.
- Work closely and regularly with the digital team including engineers and IT support to prioritize information for reporting of network operational status to key stakeholders and investigation of issues.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Proven working experience in network administration, network infrastructure, network troubleshooting, network hardware configuration, and performance tuning.
- Proficient knowledge in network design and implementation, application of network infrastructure protocols, creating network diagrams and documentation for planning network communication systems.
- Strong working knowledge with network security, LAN and WAN.
