Key Accountabilities
  • Manage the configuration, installation and upgrading of all basic hardware / software, as well as new IT equipment or devices and appropriate functions according to specifications to ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Provide on-site support for IT / data center physical activities including the set-up, repair and maintenance of devices (e.g., fixing routers, cables, monitors, keyboards, etc.) for users across ADEO.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues regarding software, hardware, and operating systems (e.g., repair or replacement of parts, debugging, etc.), ensuring that all incident records and its resolutions are logged and updated.
  • Manage the coordination and scheduling of upgrades and maintenance of hardware / software to ensure minimal deterrence or disruptions from completing tasks due to the downtime.
  • Work closely with IT team including infrastructure and network engineers in the development and maintenance of local devices, network and systems to optimize performance and ensure security and privacy are protected.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users within ADEO on operating existing / new software and computer equipment, ensuring communication of updates where applicable.
  • Perform routine tests and check-ins to identify computer and / or network equipment shortages and manage placement of orders to ensure smooth running of business operations.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience in troubleshooting systems, software installation, and database programming.
  • Proficient working knowledge in computer systems and platforms not limited to Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS X, iOS, Android, and network not limited to LANs / WANs / SANs, TCP / IP, VoIP, DNS, HTTP, Wireless / VPN Architecture, Cisco Routers & Switches, Firewalls, Cisco IOS, Active Directory Domain Controllers.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification, ITIL Foundation Certification and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is an added advantage
