Key Accountabilities
- Develop plans for monitoring security systems and provide technical and operational oversight for security operations, including implementation of critical cybersecurity operations metrics, cyber threat detection and incident alert rules and internal guidelines for processing and escalating cybersecurity incidents.
- Plan and execute 24 x 7 security operations coverage, including ongoing reviews of existing security programs, protocols and planned upgrades to detect suspicious activities and threats.
- Develop contingency and disaster recovery plans and assist in the coordination of responses and investigation efforts to ensure that detected cyber threats, risks and vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
- Conduct all security assessment and monitoring such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing to support remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Serve as a technical expert and advise ADEO leaders on information security-related risks and digital security incident response strategies by gathering and analyzing digital security threat intelligence obtained from numerous sources to derive credible intelligence using analytics tools breaches.
- Keep up to date on latest digital security threats and vulnerabilities and digital security related technologies and best practices and recommend security products, services and procedures to enhance cyber security for ADEO.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Proven working experience in cybersecurity; monitoring security operations, systems and activities preferably within government / government-related entities.
- Well versed with cybersecurity standards, protocols and frameworks and is able to provide insights and design innovative mitigation plans and solutions for security incidents.
- Proficient working knowledge in using various cybersecurity monitoring and testing tools and techniques.
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, and / or CGEIT certifications are an added advantage
