Key Accountabilities
  • Apply deep understanding of fore sighting the future and advice to shape Future Projects in alignment with Abu Dhabi’s strategic direction.
  • Execute the research agenda to systematically develop methodologies, toolkits and capability development programmes to build foresight literacy and capability throughout ADEO and the Abu Dhabi government .
  • Guide the team to produce high quality Future Foresight research and analysis; synthesize diverse data and viewpoints to develop possible scenarios and options explore future Foresight projects alternatives and provide recommendations based on cost / benefit analysis and wider implications.
  • Guide the team to develop key initiatives and policies to allow evaluation of foresighting projects; provide technical leadership to the team through coaching and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of external experts, think tanks and other organizations to conduct knowledge sharing and promote the future literacy cross government networks and serve as a Centre of excellence for research and future related projects.
  • Leverage public and private partnerships to promote knowledge sharing and build networks; represent ADEO in international panels to enable knowledge exchange and elevate Abu Dhabi’s position on the world stage
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Significant experience in building foresight literacy in government/ government related entities.
  • Experience in Evidence based Analysis and Qualitative & Quantitative report is an advantage.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in curating cross-government networks is an advantage
