Key Accountabilities
  • Apply the deep understanding of future Projects and provide expert advice to shape Future Projects in alignment with Abu Dhabi’s strategic direction.
  • Drive the research agenda to systematically scan the environment and develop insights on future trends, discontinuities, emerging opportunities and challenges to inform Abu Dhabi government priorities, strategies and aspirations .
  • Guide the team to produce high quality future projects research and analysis; synthesize diverse data and viewpoints to develop possible scenarios and options explore future projects alternatives and provide recommendations based on cost / benefit analysis and wider implications.
  • Guide the team to develop key initiatives and policies to allow evaluation of future projects options; provide technical leadership to the team through coaching and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of external experts, think tanks and other organizations to conduct knowledge sharing and to bring the outside thinking to the future project work.
  • Leverage public and private partnerships to promote knowledge sharing and build networks; represent ADEO in international panels to enable knowledge exchange and elevate Abu Dhabi’s position on the world stage.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Significant experience in, research methods documentation
  • Experience in Evidence based Analysis and Qualitative & Quantitative report is an advantage
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Significant exposure to Public sector Future projects planning is an advantage
