Key Accountabilities
- Assess the implementation plan and governance framework for the Genome Program Office to ensure government genomics programs are implemented according to the pre-defined regulations, the clinical as well as ethical standards, aligned with UAE Genomics Council’s direction
- Partner , coach & advise the key stakeholders within ADEO to develop legislations and policies framework to govern the genome research and execution programs.
- Provide project management advise to key stakeholder in implement existing and new health programs such as innovative therapies for rare and chronic diseases in line with the UAE goal
- Engage with Research center, hospitals , health centers to plan and manage the national biobanking program to drive purpose of the research
- Partner with Data & Digital Office for advisory and support related to technology, data and information technology security
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Possess scientific expertise in areas of relevance to the Genome Sciences such as large-scale sequencing, human genomics, functional genomics, bioinformatics, population genomics and technology development
- Extensive knowledge in research design ,laboratory management ,
- Possess strong knowledge of Federal , legislative governances & data security.
- Experience in Risk Assessments, Internal control & Compliance
- Experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders of varying profiles and levels
