Key Accountabilities
- Monitor progress of the various genomic research initiatives and related activities identified for the Genome Program to ensure achievement of the intended objectives within the timeline and budget, and highlight the challenge associated with if any .
- Monitor the activities in the bio sample collection sites to ensure effective allocation of expert and resources within approved funds as per policies , meeting ethical standards.
- Support Policy lab , Legal affair expert from ADEO , Health authorities across UAE in policies and legislations development discussion & design within the federal and local government entities
- Support project management implementation for existing and new health programs in line with the Genome Program’s goal of providing the best healthcare system for all Emiratis
- Collaborate with relevant entities responsible for genomic data management and security to establish data access and transfer protocols, and assist in obtaining approvals when third party submits request
- Collect data and prepare reports for presentation to the key stakeholders i.e., Chairman of ADEO, the UAE Genome Council and any of the members, as well as external partners as necessary
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Experience in managing portfolios of complex projects within scientific or public health program
- Experience in project management with exposure to the applicable policies and processes for Government / Government-related entities.
- Knowledgeable in the overall project management processes which includes initiation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting and familiar with robust suite of project management tools.
- Experience in engaging & managing stakeholders at all level
- Broad understanding in genomic science and genomic medicine
