Key Accountabilities
- Develop strategic framework by establishing baseline information related to the physical, social, and economic context, as well as any particularly important opportunities and constraints relevant to the capital project that is most effective and cost efficient, taking into consideration best value and the return on capital investment.
- Conduct master planning studies as part of the comprehensive master development plans to provide an objective review of overall capital projects development proposals and options by government entities, including scenario planning, simulations, findings, analysis and conclusions from the visioning and scoping exercises for a given site or inner-city area.
- Design conceptual layout to guide future growth and development, taking into consideration buildings, social settings, surrounding environment to enable consistent and integrated efforts across capital project developments.
- Establish best practices frameworks and approach to guide master plan approach, providing expert advice on innovative urban solutions to deliver the best-studied solutions in alignment to desired economic, social, environmental value for Abu Dhabi.
- Facilitate active engagement of local communities, respective partner agencies, key stakeholders and interest groups to obtain inputs, feedback and buy-in from the community on key development proposals to ensure balance between supporting economic growth and continuing to improve the lives of Abu Dhabi residents and communities.
