Key Accountabilities
  • Drive and define ADEO’s research agenda to systematically scan the horizon and develop insights on future trends, discontinuities, emerging opportunities and challenges to inform and support Abu Dhabi leadership to explore possibilities and define desired futures.
  • Lead the Future Foresight team by providing guidance, supervision and mentorship to team members, enhancing their capability to build a Future Foresight Center of Excellence
  • Champion futures literacy through ADEO and the Abu Dhabi government by developing toolkits, methodologies and capability development programs and curating cross government learning networks
  • Work closely with Strategy and Policy Lab functions and other entities on Future related projects and the incubation of new capabilities
  • Engage with practitioners, think tanks and other external partnerships to conduct knowledge sharing, deepen capability and drive understanding of cross-cutting issues
  • Represent ADEO in international panels to promote knowledge sharing and provide thought leadership in the area of Future foresight
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience in Strategic Foresight and Anticipatory Governance
  • Experience building capacity and capability across a diverse talent pool.
  • Experience in strategic planning activities, from sensing and sense-making, to strategy development, and cross entity collaboration
  • Exposure to public policy design and evaluation
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to inform, guide and facilitate decision making
