Key Accountabilities
  • Develop the digital transformation roadmap of Abu Dhabi , aligned to the strategic positioning of government digitization efforts & long term future vision including a high-level charter, authority and resource requirement
  • Oversee & approve investments required on digital priorities and enablers to execute the project within timeline & budget as per the AD Smart city plan
  • Monitor & assess the progress of digital maturity across government entities in Abu Dhabi to identify gaps at a whole of government level in coordination with government entities
  • Influence the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and other government entities to build the future capabilities based on digital skill gap for the success of the AD smart city plan
  • Engage with the Policy Lab and provide expertise to facilitate the development of innovative and leading digital policies that impact and advance Abu Dhabi digital era.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Proven working experience as a digital transformation leader who has overseen successful implementation of enterprise/government-wide digital transformation
  • Strong public sector expertise to understand user requirements and use cases with knowledge of digital landscape, including leading and emerging technologies
  • Broad technical expertise with strong business and commercial acumen to challenge, translate and drive decisions
  • Exceptional influencing and collaboration skills across all levels, particularly senior and influential stakeholders.
  • Extensive leadership and managerial experience leading a team (including technical staff)
