Key Accountabilities
  • Execute and operate project control systems based on established frameworks and governance to support effective oversight of capital projects delivery.
  • Coordinate the collecting, analyzing, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information to ensure overall project status is assessed and potential problem areas are identified.
  • Conduct new systems testing and implementations and coordinate with Programme and Project Manager to identify and work around system updates and test system outage to minimize disruptions.
  • Define the system maintenance procedures and monitor systems performance and usage, including seeking opportunities to optimize the delivery of systems services with emphasis on availability, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Provide technical advice and support to resolve project controls issues (i.e., system design, system interface, site-related issues) and conduct technical root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions and support mitigations plans.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Background in an Engineering or Construction-related discipline.
  • Proven working experience as Controls Engineers - managing complex system integration implementation an advantage; preferably with public sector and/or capital projects experience.
  • Familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices and procedures within the specific project portfolios and exposure to the applicable policies and processes for Government / Government-related entities is an advantage.
