Key Accountabilities
  • Apply deep understanding of employment and future of work as well as the continuous employment and fast-changing future skills etc.. to provide deep technical expertise and advice to shape employment and work skills strategy in alignment with Abu Dhabi’s strategic direction.
  • Drive the development and application of innovative & technology-driven frameworks and instruments that monitor and predict the employment trends to identify robust inputs for strategy design
  • Guide the team to produce high quality economic research and analysis; synthesize diverse data and viewpoints to develop possible scenarios and options explore employment and future work strategies alternatives and provide recommendations based on cost / benefit analysis and wider implications to enhance skills-based employment and work framework and infrastructure.
  • Guide the team to develop models that allow evaluation of strategy options; provide technical leadership to the team through coaching and mentorship in the promotion of skill development and strategies that encourage employers in building and valuing skills.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams from Strategy department, Future Foresight and other departments in ADEO and related entities to provide expert advisory related to Employment and future work and skill-building.
  • Provide advisory and influence the development of education & learning strategy and actively engage with leaders in ADEO to share strategic viewpoints and thought leadership.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience working as a Government Transformation Advisor
  • Significant exposure to Public sector strategy and execution is an advantage
  • Experience in public strategy design and evaluation
  • Experience dealing with complexity, arbitrating strategy and complementarities
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of vision and aspirations into strategy directions
